What are the Best EDM Clubs in Vegas?
Electronic Dance Music (also known as EDM, but you already knew that…) has been exploding in Las Vegas for the past few years. You will now see billboards around Vegas with familiar DJ faces such as Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Skrillex and Avicii. Here’s a breakdown of the current top EDM parties in Vegas.
XS Nightclub and the team at Wynn Resorts were the first to heavily invest into EDM in 2011. They haven’t slowed down since! One of the best features of XS is the combination of its indoors dance floor and its outdoors pool area. The same DJs will also play at Encore Beach Club which is also located at the Encore. If you’re looking for a beautiful nightclub with a large outdoors area and music by the top DJs, you need to visit XS.
Notable EDM DJs:
Fedde le Grand
LiFE at the SLS Las Vegas is the newest player in the game but they arguably hold the most diverse line-up of all the other Vegas properties. LiFE also features a separate pool party called Beach LiFE. LiFE offers a great combination of DJs that play mainstream EDM, dubstep, deep house and even techno. Sunday nights at LiFE is one of the rare places you can enjoy a more “underground” sound with DJs such as Cirez D, Deep Dish and Pete Tong. If you’re looking for the newest club experience in Vegas, LiFE should be your first choice.
Notable EDM DJs:
Eric Prydz (Cirez D)
Fat Boy Slim
A few years ago, Marquee at the Cosmopolitan hotel went head-to-head with XS and Wynn properties with an impressive line-up including DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin and Tritonal. Marquee is connected to a pool area called Marquee Dayclub which is the pool party during the day. Marquee is known for having the best trance DJs in Las Vegas.
Armin van Buuren
Light at the Mandalay Bay has arguably the best sound system and LED visuals in Las Vegas. Combined with DJs such as Axwell, Carl Cox and Nicky Romero… it’s a guaranteed epic party. The daytime pool party Daylight Beach Club also features the same DJs.
Drai’s at the Cromwell is the only rooftop nightclub and pool party in Las Vegas. The DJ line-up seems to be more focused on rising DJs than “radio DJs” that have multiple top 40 hits.
Hakkasan at the MGM Grand spared no expenses and snatched the highest paid DJs in the industry including Calvin Harris and Tiesto. If you’re looking for the “festival” type of EDM, this is the right place for you. The same DJs will also play at Wet Republic which is also located inside the MGM Grand.
Above & Beyond
Surrender at the Encore hotel will share some of its DJs with XS Nightclub along with a few exceptions including Adrian Lux and Dillon Francis. In most cases, the top DJs will be at XS rather than Surrender but Surrender is generally the better choice for alternative sounds such as trap, dubstep and moombahcore.

If you’re going to any of these nightclubs during a holiday weekend, buy your tickets or book your reservations early! There’s only a limited number of tickets available and EDM events will sell out much faster than other events.
